Harvey informed the NEC on 3/20/08 that they will be leaving the NEC for the Chagrin
Valley Conference. According to the Star Beacon, "Harvey’s move to the CVC will
go into effect after either the 2008-09 school year or the 2009-10 school year,
depending on what the NEC wants." Harvey's departure could be the beginning of the end for the NEC, as
the conference will be left with just four members.
