Jackson

1995 - Current

Jackson has used the current helmet for the past eight years. Prior to that, they had worn the same logo on a yellow helmet since 1985. The helmet before that was purple with script "bears" on it. Thanks to Mike L. for this information.

Perry

1992 - Current

From 1956-1965 Perry wore white helmets with a black stripe down the center. From 1966-1982 they were still white, however they had leaping black panthers on each side and a gold stripe with a black stripe on each side. From 1978-1982 they used black face masks. In 1983 Perry changed to black helmets and face masks. From 1983-1990 the helmet had no stripes and a script, gold "Perry" outlined in white on each side. In 1991 the script was replaced by the same style of Panther wore by the Michigan Panthers of the USFL. In 1992-present, the panther logo was replaced by the block elongated "P".

Thanks to Doug E., football historian for Perry High, for this information.
